Ohio Democratic Party state dinner

Annually, the Ohio Democratic Party sponsors a state dinner as a fundraiser for the party.  This year the event is scheduled for Saturday, June 27th at The Celeste Center on the Ohio State Fairgrounds at 717 East 17th Avenue in Columbus.  There are several levels of support and likely many of you received a mailing with an invitation.  The Governor’s Club Reception is from 3p.m. to 4 p.m. @ $2000 per person, followed by the Chairman’s Circle Reception from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. - $1000 per person.  The actual dinner is at 5 p.m. - $150 per person.  This is typically the level that most attend to support ODP.

Last year, Adams Countians had 3 tables of 10 for a total of 30 people representing Adams County.  This showed outstanding support from our County!  If you did not receive an invitation to this year’s State Dinner and would like to attend, you may RSVP by calling 614-341-6911 or email RSVP@ohiodems.org  Seating is limited and ODP is requesting responses by June 19th

If you purchase a ticket and do not plan to attend and are willing to pass the ticket along to another Adams Countian to attend, you may contact me by email or phone 937.587.5128 and I will find someone to use the ticket.

We hope to have Adams County well-represented at this state event again this year!

Election Congratulations & Thank You

Congratulations are extended to Mark Tolle for being re-elected Adams County Recorder! We are proud to have Mark continue his service and proud he is a Democrat! Thank You to all those who voted Democratic on November 4th, 2008 and helped elected Barack Obama, President of the United States. Preliminary results show Adams County giving 36.7% of the vote to Obama which is a remarkable achievement for our county!! A special thanks and appreciation is extended to all the volunteers who worked so hard during the campaign by making phone calls and canvassing tirelessly to bring about change for our country. You were part of an historic election. We were proud to see local folks working hand in hand with Obama Campaign staffers, Bruce Mulkey and Donna Sue Groves. We hope to see the involvement and energy continue as we move forward to bring change to our county.
